Step into a world where stories, culture, and community blend in a delightful way at Boon & Books! Created by Mehret Habte Mehanzel, this special gathering celebrates the power of storytelling, the rich tradition of the East African coffee ceremony, and the joy of being together.
Kids will be treated to a lively book reading that sparks their imagination and introduces them to the cultural treasures of the coffee ceremony. They’ll learn about the importance of service and respect for elders—core values that build strong, caring communities. They’ll also get hands-on experience assisting in the ceremony, modeling how young ones can contribute meaningfully and be celebrated for it!
